My name is Kaitlin Pendagast. I was born and raised in Connecticut and attended Newtown High School. I was employed at a dollar store called Just-A-Buck for over two years during High School and am returning there to work full time this summer. During my employment there, I acquired a true sense of responsibility and goal orientation by saving up the money that I earned over the course of one year to buy a car. During my employment at Just-A-Buck I also developed a high degree of interpersonal skill with my hands-on experience in customer service.
I enrolled in Rider University in New Jersey in the fall of 2007 and am actively involved in many clubs and organizations here on campus. I am Vice President of the Residence Hall Association for my building, a part of the executive board for an organization called ROOTERS, and am inovlved in the Emerging Leaders program, Student Government Association, the History Club, Intervarsity, and the Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society. My involvement in these many activities has helped me to greatly develop my leadership, team-building, and communication skills. I am pursing a major in communications with a focus in the speech and interpersonal track and a minor in political science.

Kaitlin Pendagast- I love the way you talked about saving your money for your car. It shows that you are responsible as well as committed to what you put you mind to. However, you have to remember to publish all your posts because when employers are looking at your blog they do not know your sign information. Great job on the presentation.
